Lukewarm

Each day we walk through the Bible chapter by chapter making an application of our text to help us grow in the Lord. Many applications can be made from each day's text. Today we Continue in the book of Revelation with Chapter 3 and today we see 3 more of the 7 Churches mentioned when the Lord told John to pen down this Chapter. We see the Lifeless Church in Sardis. The obedient Church mentioned in Philadelphia, and the Lukewarm Church of Laodicea. Do you see your attitude in one of these Churches? The one that stands out to me is the Lukewarm Church and how this Church makes the Lord sick. The apathy of this Church upsets the Lord because they were not hot or cold. He even says He will spew them out of His mouth. The Lord on the other hand is described as one who is busy, standing at the door an knocking for all to come to repentance. How about you? Do you see your life in one of these Churches. Let us learn from out text today and Let us follow the Lord's example to be diligent about His business until His return. Let's try to please Him in our daily walk.
