Are You Faithful?

Each day we walk through the Bible chapter by chapter making an application of our text to help us grow in the Lord. Many applications can be made from each day's text. Today we start the book of 2nd Timothy with Chapter 1 and in our text we see Paul instructing Timothy in this letter as he pastors the Church in Ephesus. Here Timothy is instructed to be faithful in his Christian Service and Ministry. In making application we see need to follow this instruction today as we need to stay faithful in a culture that is going in the opposite direction. It is easy to get discouraged in these days but our Lord is in control and we need to keep our eyes on Jesus as we continue to serve Him in our lives. How about you? Are you faithful? Let us learn from out text today and the reminder of Paul to be faithful in these days, doing the Lord's Will, until He returns for His Church very soon.
