God's Word Takes Root in Our Lives

Each day we walk through the Bible chapter by chapter making an application of our text to help us grow in the Lord. Many applications can be made from each day's text. Today we start the book of 2nd Peter with Chapter 1 and today we see Peter giving guidance for growing Christians as he gives character qualities to develop in life. In making application we see that we are not saved by our works but our salvation will produce good works though us as the Lord's Word takes root in our lives. It is natural process for the believer. How about you? Are you saved? If so do you see the Lord working in your life. Let us learn from our text today and the reminder of Peter that our Salvation is not of works but rather will produce works in our lives as God's Word take root in our lives.
