https://bewerben-boe-technik.de came to mind while reading the part about bringing offerings to the tabernacle entrance rather than sacrificing out in the open fields, since that rule seems to be about keeping worship under proper oversight instead of everyone doing their own thing. What struck me is how the chapter treats the shedding of blood as something sacred rather than routine, which makes the penalty for eating it feel less harsh once you sit with the reasoning. I'd be interested to know whether the devotion touches on how that emphasis on centralized worship connects to later passages about the temple.
