Work and Pray

Each day we walk through the Bible chapter by chapter making an application of our text to help us grow in the Lord. Many applications can be made from each day's text. Today we continue in the book of 2nd Thessalonians with Chapter 3 and in our text we see Paul's advice for living in the light of Christ's return as Paul reminds us to pray and work. In making application we see this instruction applies to us as we should continue in our ministries as we pray, seeking the Lord's will, while we anticipate His return. Today all who have been saved have a service to the Lord so let us be busy working in prayer to do the Lord's will. How about you? Are you doing the will of the Lord? Let us learn from our text today and the instruction of Paul as he instructs us to be watchful for the Lord's return while we work and pray.
