The Promise Keeper

Each day we walk through the Bible chapter by chapter making an application of our text to help us grow in the Lord. Many applications can be made from each day's text. Today we continue in the book of Romans with Chapter 9 and in our text we see God's selection of Israel and their unbelief. What catches my eye is how God keeps His promises - from Abraham to today - this tiny nation of Israel still stands as a God's chosen nation as He promised. In making application we see that the promises made to you are me still stand true. Salvation is of the Lord and available to all who receive Christ. How about you? Do you see that the Lord keeps His promises? Let us learn from our text today and the words of Paul who reminds us that the Lord keeps His promises and will redeem you if you simply call upon His Name with a repentant heart then you have His promise that He will save your soul.
